Penn’s Division of Public Safety supports the physical and emotional wellbeing of all Penn community members. Public Safety works closely with our city, state, and federal law enforcement and emergency services partners to ensure the safety of all of those who work and study at Penn.
Penn students and family members are urged to create a contact for Penn Police’s 24/7 Emergency Communications Center (215-573-3333). Students are encouraged to download the Penn Guardian App, which can rapidly transmit information, including GPS coordinates, in the event of an emergency.
Request a Walking Escort: Penn Public Safety and the University District Ambassador Program provide Walking Escorts from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. between 30th & 50th and Spring Garden Street to Woodland Avenue. Call 215-898-WALK (9255).
