Tamara Greenfield King serves as Interim Vice Provost for University Life and Senior Associate Vice Provost for Student Affairs. Her portfolio includes Career Services, Naval ROTC, Platt Student Performing Arts House, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, and the Office of Student Affairs. King came to Penn in 2019 after 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility at Washington University, St. Louis, culminating as Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Support and Wellness. She is a sought-after expert in student conduct and Title IX, serving as the first African American president of the Association for Student Conduct Administration and co-authoring the book, Reframing Campus Conflict: Student Conduct Practice Through the Lens of Inclusive Excellence. Prior to higher education, King worked at various law firms, opened her own firm, and served as the first African American Assistant District Attorney in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Penn State University and received her law degree from New York University.

I am the Associate Vice Provost for University Life, and I started my journey at Penn in the PennCAP office as a counselor. In my current role, I have oversight for the Weingarten Center, Student Intervention Services, Penn Violence Prevention, and the Community Care program. One of my major responsibilities is to advise and provide guidance in emergencies, crisis response and emergent case consultation with deans, faculty, academic/student affairs officers of all twelve schools of the University, and other University partner offices and resources.

Hall serves as Assistant Vice Provost for Strategic Planning and Operations in University Life where she leads strategic planning, mission alignment, and fostering divisional values of cultural humility and inclusion. Laurie spent seventeen years at Princeton University, most recently in the Office of the Executive Vice President as Assistant Director for Administrative Planning where she participated in enterprise level planning, financial stewardship, risk management, and organizational development. She received her BA and Ed.M. at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ and is currently a doctoral candidate in the Graduate School of Education at Penn with research interest in the perceived value of formalized education across communities and cultures, ecosystems for first generation student support, student-athlete protections and supports, and institutional definitions and investment in community and belonging,

Jamie has been a career advisor for more than 20 years, and joined Penn Career Services in 2009. Jamie is a native of the greater Philadelphia area and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Education in Psychological Services, both from the University of Pennsylvania (Go Quakers!). Jackie is interested in exploring the intersection of social justice and career services and is an advocate for equitable access to career development resources. Outside of work, Jackie is a sensitivity reader and presenter on career topics to non-profits.

Natty joined the Career Services team in February 2017. His work entails meeting with students from the College of Arts & Sciences about their future career and internship plans. He now leads the team working with Wharton undergraduates. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Natty’s high school mascot was also the Quaker. His interest in higher education started when he was an RA at New York University where he majored in Media, Culture and Communication. Loving the ability to explore multiple disciplines and subjects, Natty also minored in both English and Web Design. Prior to coming to the University of Pennsylvania, Natty worked at Temple University as a Pre-Health advisor for four years. While at Temple, he earned his M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. He is now thrilled to be helping students at Penn plan for the future. Beginning in October 2021, Natty also began co-hosting the CS Radio podcast.
