Strategic Planning and Operations
Laurie A. Hall serves as Assistant Vice Provost for Strategic Planning and Operations, developing and directing professional development, policy development, and cultivating a culture of dignity, cultural humility, inclusion, and understanding of common divisional goals and institutional values. Hall oversees University Life Facilities, which includes Perelman Quadrangle, Irvine Auditorium, the ARCH, Central Pool Classrooms, Iron Gate Theater, and other student-facing spaces across campus. She came to Penn in 2017 as Associate Director of University Life Facilities after previously serving as Assistant Director for Administrative Planning in the Office of the Executive Vice President at Princeton University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and a master’s in Education Theory, Policy, and Administration, from Rutgers University.
